The glass top of this dining table has an enlarged image of mahogany wood grain printed on graphic film that is permanently adhered to its underside. It takes the modernist ideal of “truthful expression of materials” to the extreme by introducing an idealized re-presentation of the wood and craft that are physically present in the table base.
